Hi, I’m Raunak Mehta

Founder, Mind Alchemy | Licensed Clinical Psychologist

I’ve always been curious about why people think, feel, and behave the way they do — a curiosity that naturally led me to becoming a licensed Clinical psychologist. Over the years, I’ve trained in hospital settings, taught undergraduate psychology, and engaged deeply in both research and therapeutic work.

Today, as a licensed clinician I offer therapy and psychological assessments across age groups — blending clinical expertise with empathy to support mental well-being in a space that feels safe, collaborative, and client-centred.

My Approach

I’m a client-centered therapist who believes that healing begins in spaces where clients feel seen, heard, and safe. I follow an evidence-based, eclectic approach, integrating techniques from:

Cognitive
Behavior Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours. It’s effective for anxiety, depression, OCD, phobias, and stress-related issues.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT builds skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. It’s used for borderline personality disorder, mood disorders, self-harm, and emotional dysregulation.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT promotes acceptance of difficult emotions while encouraging value-based actions. It’s useful for anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, and stress..

Behavior Modification
(for children)

This approach reinforces positive behaviours and reduces challenging ones. It supports children with ADHD, oppositional behaviours, anxiety, and school-related difficulties.

Areas I can help with

Patterns of thinking, feeling, or relating that are rigid, intense, or lead to repeated interpersonal difficulties. Therapy helps increase self-awareness, emotional stability, and build healthier relationship dynamics.

Includes prolonged low mood, lack of motivation, irritability, or emotional instability that affects functioning. Treatment supports emotional regulation, behavioural activation, and restoring a sense of purpose and wellbeing.

Frequent conflict, emotional disconnection, or unresolved issues in personal, romantic, or family relationships. Interventions aim to improve communication, rebuild trust, and create healthier relational patterns.

Challenges related to attention, impulse control, social communication, or sensory sensitivities — often affecting academic, behavioural, or emotional development. Support includes assessment, behavioural strategies, and caregiver guidance to promote adaptive functioning.

Persistent worry, fear, or intrusive thoughts that may interfere with daily life, routines, or decision-making. Therapy focuses on helping individuals manage distress, reduce compulsions, and build effective coping strategies.

Substance use or behavioural dependencies, or adjustment difficulties during major life changes (e.g. relocation, loss, parenthood, career shifts). Therapy focuses on relapse prevention, emotional support, and building sustainable coping mechanisms.

Includes emotional dysregulation, learning difficulties, defiance, or social withdrawal in children and adolescents. Intervention involves child-friendly assessment, behaviour modification, and parent training to support holistic development.
